In these two pieces I am still playing with the concept of memory and the connection between cultural identity and misinformation. The photos are of my family and the idea of building a personal identity based on a collection of oral stories detailing our family origins. Over time, choices are made to attach ourselves to certain details of these stories while totally disregarding others, creating a distorted truth.
